Official mobile applications for smartphone users!
To make it even easier to use SMS parking, Mobile-for has developed a few applications for smartphone users.
These free applications can be easily found in Google Play or in the App Store under the name 4411. For Google Play users, two different applications are available: the standard application “SMS 4411” and the QR application “SMS 4411 QR”. If you have an iPhone, you can find the application in the App Store under the name “SMS 4411 QR”.
NB: Only the applications in the link below were developed by Mobile-for. Other 4411 applications are not recognized by Mobile-for. If you use an unauthorized application, we cannot guarantee that your parking sessions will be correctly started and stopped, and therefore we cannot be held liable for any errors, extra costs or charges.

Hasselt: new parking regulation as from March 1st, 2012
Beware! As from March 1st 2012 a number of rules and tariffs change in Hasselt
No matter whether you pay your parking session via SMS or via the parking meter, the maximum parking duration increased to 10 hours paying parking (it used to be 1 hour only). Don’t forget to stop your session by sending a text message with the letter Q to 4411 otherwise your parking session risks to last 10 hours!
The paying period doesn’t change and stays from Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.
The parking tariff is also adapted:
1st hour = 1 euro/hour
As from the 2nd hour = 2 euro/hour
When starting your parking session, you’ll receive an extra (free) SMS to remind you these changes in the local parking regulation.
Parking via QR-code: Heusden-Zolder first in Europe
« Heusden-Zolder is the first city in Europe to launch the parking via QR-code » says Sonja Claes, Heusden-Zolder mayor. We are also very proud that de company Alfa-Zet from Heusden-Zolder developed this technology together with Mobile-for. Instead of typing the parking meter number followed by the license plate, the user simply downloads a free app on his phone with which he scans the parking meter QR-code. Then he starts a parking session via the application. He stops his session through the same application. Currently the application is only available on the Android platform. As from end January the app will be available on the Apple store.

SMS parking in Antwerp has now day tickets!
SMS parking will be cheaper and even more userfriendly. You can use a day ticket during 10 payed-for-hours. Before your ticket didn't continue the next day. Mobile-For created an application that makes this possible.
